It’s Peace week of Advent, and I’m inviting you to join me in deliberately choosing peace as much as possible for the next seven days. Often, the very best gift we can give is to simply be peaceful and present. Think of a time where you were frantic and found calm solely because you ran into a peaceful person. This week, I’m inviting you to BE that person. To help, I’ve created a new guided audio – you can download it here. I’ve also gathered some visual and literary peace for your perusal:
Troubled?
Then stay with me, for I am not.
-Hafiz
Peace is always beautiful.
-Walt Whitman
Courageous people do not fear forgiving for the sake of peace.
-Nelson Mandela
We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.
-Dalai Lama XIV
Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.
-Mahatma Gandhi
I am content; that is a blessing greater than riches; and he to whom that is given need ask no more.
-Henry Fielding

Liz, the quotes and photos in this blog brought such serenity and now-moment awareness. Thank you. Perfect timing, as always. Love, Erin
Thank you so much, Erin! Love hearing that!
So appropriate any time but more so this time of year. I find myself running all day today. After reading your blog I promise myself peace tomorrow and the next 6 days.
Thanks
Sally
Sounds good to me, Mom – especially since I’ll be with you for at least four of those 🙂
