Friends, it’s a short post week, as I have one more awesome tool I want to share with you from The Vortex by Abraham-Hicks, and I’m currently enjoying a vacation with my whole family in the wilds of Tennessee.
This is a great tool when you want to shift your mood, or get out of a negative thinking loop but can’t quite get yourself to try the focus wheel or do thought work. Instead, all you have to do is take out a piece of paper (or open an electronic document), and write at the top “Positive Aspects of XXXXX” filling in whatever situation you’re interested in for XXXXX. Then, list as many positive aspects as you can.
Simple, fun, and surprisingly effective, this tool can be used for anything from negative situations that you want to change to enhancing your love and appreciation for a cherished person.
Something to note, too – if you have a hard time with the idea of channeled entities, like Abraham via Esther Hicks, you can also find a similar premise about looking for bright spots in the book Switch: How to Change When Change is Hard by Chip and Dan Heath.
Have fun with it! Feel free to use the comments section as your blank document and share positive aspects with us!
